About Us Hyperbaric Medical Services provides a full spectrum of medical support to divers. The Medical Director Lieutenant Colonel (NS) Dr Michael Ong Chin Cheong has been practising diving medicine for 12 years in the Navy. During his stint in the Navy, he received training in diving and hyperbaric medicine from the world renowned Defence and Civil Institute of Environmental Medicine (DCIEM), the Canadian Navy as well as in theUSAHe has also headed the Naval Medicine and Hyperbaric centre in theRepublic of Singapore Navy and provided medical support to the Naval Diving unit of the Singapore Navy.
